Reiki
Reiki can also be done from a distance! Reiki practitioners can help without being in the same room.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing technique in which practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body. Improving the flow of energy and removing blockages can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
The form of Reiki that most people practice today was originated by Dr. Mikao Usui, who was born in Japan in 1865. His intense spiritual practices culminated in a profound revelation in the 1920s that led to the practice now called Reiki. In the 1930s, a Japanese-American woman named Hawayo Takata first brought Reiki to the United States. It is now widely practiced around the world.

What to Expect During a Reiki Session
Reiki treatments typically last between 45 - 90 minutes and happen in a peaceful, private setting. Reiki can be done lying down or seated. Reiki can even be done from a distance!
Typically, you lie on a table or sit in a comfortable chair fully clothed
Reiki practitioners gently place their hands on or above your body in specific energy locations for about 3-10 minutes at each location
Practitioners move their hands based on how they feel the energy flow or blockages
There is no pressure or manipulation of your body like with massage
Practitioners hands may become hot or cool throughout the treatment
Most people feel a deep sense of relaxation and a sense of calmness
